Shanghai (China), 26 September 2023 – The unmistakable design of the Ducati Diavel V4 continues its world tour with the “Diavel V4 Design Nights”. After the success of the evenings in Amsterdam (Klibansky Gallery), Paris (Sinner Paris), Brussels (TheMerode Club), London (The Gherkin), New York (Moonlight Studios) and Kyoto (Tofukuji Temple), the new Ducati model was also presented to Chinese enthusiasts taking centre stage in an exclusive event organized at the Museum of Art Pudong in Shanghai city centre.
The presentation was held inside the lecture hall of the Museum and saw the participation of more than 200 people including Ducatisti, media and important personalities, who, after listening to the speech by Ducati China General Manager Luca Battiloro and the live sketching of the motorcycle by a designer from the Centro Stile Ducati, lingered on the rooftop of the building for an entertaining party. For all participants, the evening in Shanghai was an opportunity to see the new Diavel V4 up close and focus attention on the design of a family of motorcycles that over the years has become an authentic style icon on a global level.
At the "Diavel V4 Design Night", Ducati proudly presented an exhibition that delved into the design evolution of the Diavel family. This showcase not only highlighted the innovative advancements of the new Diavel V4 but also its unique blend of muscular and sporty aesthetics that define its cruiser motorcycle design.
New Diavel V4 counts on a lighting system which is extremely spectacular and helps to unequivocally define its aesthetics, particularly in the rear view with an unprecedented matrix of punctiform LEDs. Two other characterizing elements of this motorcycle that immediately catch the eye are the imposing 240 mm wide rear tyre with five-spoke alloy rims and the silencer with four outlets.
The main innovation for Borgo Panigale's muscle cruiser is the introduction of the V4 Granturismo. The engine has always been at the centre of the Diavel concept and in this third generation it is therefore confirmed as a distinctive element both for style and for character and performance . The Ducati designers started from the V4 Granturismo, enhancing it and making it the protagonist, developing all the other elements that contribute to the style of the Diavel to maintain its uniqueness and recognisability intact. The new Diavel V4 is available in the Ducati network dealerships in the classic Ducati Red colour or in Thrilling Black gloss black version.
