Under requirements of The Data Protection Act 1998, we have a legal duty to protect any personal information we collect from or hold about you. We do not pass on your details to any third party unless you give us permission to do so.
We undertake to maintain the confidentiality of all personal data held or processed by us. We will provide individuals with a copy of any information relating to them within 40 calendar days of receiving such a request.

The term 'DOC GB' or 'Club' includes Ducati Owners Club GB trading as Tricolore GB Ltd.
Members personal information is stored on a secure database accessible by our membership secretary and some members of the clubs Council of Management as part of normal membership administration.
By selecting to receive communication from local branches, members e-mail and phone number(s) can be made available to local branch coordinators.
By selecting confidential no details will be made available to local branch coordinators.
If you have submitted your email address to us through the DOC GB website, by registering on our website, sending in a membership form, or by registering as a user of the forum, you may in future receive email communications from us. These communications may be sent from time to time to inform you about our events, activities and services. Should you not wish to receive further communications from the Clubs branches, you can unsubscribe by clicking the 'Unsubscribe' link from within any emails we may send you.
Members membership infomation will stay on the membership system for 2 years after their membership as lapsed or has been lapsed.
After 2 years lapsed members infomation will be deleted from the system by the membership secretary.
Members can delete their own infomation at any time by logging on to 'MY MEMBERSHIP' https://www.docgb.org/login or can request that their information is deleted by the membership secretary memsec@docgb.net
The information we collect
We collect data from our website for a number of reasons, primarily to provide you with the most useful and relevant information and services from DOC GB. We do this through collecting and analysing both anonymous, or aggregate, data, and personal data volunteered by you online.
In some areas of our website, for example forms, emails and Club shop we collect personal data such as your name, address, telephone number and email. We may use this personally identifiable information to customise the content on the websites and to such visitors’ current and future needs and to process any requests, applications or transactions undertaken by you and for internal administration and analysis. We undertake to use this information only for the reason you have supplied it or any other reason for which you have given us permission to do so. DOC GB does not sell, rent, or disclose any information to third parties.
Where relevant, information is provided to explain why the data is being collected and how it will be used. In some cases, we may ask you to 'opt-in' to receive future communications including email, or SMS text marketing. In other cases, when we ask you for information about yourself you may, by ticking the appropriate box provided, tell us that you do not want to receive future communications from us. Please be aware that if you do so you may miss some Club-related communications since these may not always be displayed on the website, sent by post or published in DESMO, the Club's magazine

Any information provided to Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. via our section of the Desmo Owners Club website will also be available to the DOC GB for use within our secure membership database.
Email communications
Email is the Club's preferred channel for members' communications as it helps minimise our operating costs allowing us to maintain our membership fees at acceptable levels.
DOC GB uses a third party service provided by MailChimp to deliver its e-mail newsletters, messages and other Club-related communications in a timely and convenient format. MailChimp was selected as it provides a proven, trusted and widely-used service which also offers value for money for our members. Importantly, it also provides the security that we regard as essential when handling members, partners and other stakeholders' contact information.
MailChimp is certified under the US-EU 'Safe Harbor Scheme', a scheme run by the US Government, to ensure that our data is protected to the same level as it would be if held in the UK. For more information please refer to the MailChimp Privacy Policy.
You can choose to unsubscribe from receiving emails at any time. However, if you do so, you may miss some Club-related communications since these may not always be displayed on the website, sent by post or published in DESMO, the Club's magazine.
Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (‘Google’).
